PRESS PLAY: New Albums out September 30th!

September goes out with a flourish when it comes to the bold assortment of new albums released on its final day. Arriving after nearly a decade-long absence, Cool it Down marks a thrilling return from art-rock trio Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Still exploring new frontiers, indie icons Pixies‘ eighth album, Doggerel, features the first ever songwriting credit for guitarist Joey Santiago. Speaking of icons, Björk‘s long-awaited tenth solo album, Fossora, is a mushroom-themed collection of sonic textures inspired by Icelandic folk and choral music. Divided into three complementary segments, Tyler Childers‘ ambitious triple album Can I Take My Hounds to Heaven? shows off the Kentucky songwriter’s versatility.

New Jersey rockers Titus Andronicus deliver hooks and heart on their seventh LP, The Will to Live. Brandi Carlile revisits her most recent album for a fully acoustic reimagining entitled In the Canyon Haze.
