Madra Salach joins host Raina Douris

Madra Salach sold out two shows at Dublin’s The Workmen’s Club while World Cafe was in Dublin – the band the added a third, which also instantly sold out. They released their debut EP, It’s a Hell of an Age, earlier this year and on it you can hear elements of traditional Irish folk, but also the raw passion and energy of groups like The Pogues, which were a source of inspiration. As a part of World Cafe’s Sense of Place: Dublin series, hear their first interview and performance in the United States! We know you will love them as much as we did.
