WXPN’s Membership Department is looking for a Digital Fundraising Intern to assist in the production of its Online Auction this Spring. Come learn about how nonprofit fundraising can support music in local communities and drive audience engagement. Whether you choose to work in our offices or remotely, you will be a part of our team, and will receive professional support, hands-on education, and mentorship.

Duties: This intern will help the membership department collect, organize, and design cool items to be auctioned off at this online event. Additionally, this intern will assist in the preparation and marketing of the auction, including email, on-air, and social media campaigns.

Qualifications: Strong written and oral communication skills especially through email and the phone. Some computer skills will be needed, including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Creativity, a good sense of humor, and a friendly attitude are imperative.

Location: At the WXPN offices in Philadelphia, or remotely. Remote internships will include regular participation with the membership department via phone, email, Slack, and other online project management tools.

Desired Majors: Music Industry; Entertainment & Arts Management, Communications, Marketing, Mass Media, Business, Non-Profit Management
