Student Involvement at WXPN
The great programming of music, news and sports that you hear on WXPN is only possible with the help of a large team of student interns and work study students. WXPN is a remarkable work environment for motivated and independent individuals. Many students who start working with us their freshman year continue at WXPN until their education is complete.

WXPN Work Study Jobs
UPenn students with a Work Study grant can go to the Student Employment Office to search for available Work Study jobs at WXPN and type in the Keyword: WXPN. Because of WXPN's affiliation with the University of Pennsylvania, we only work with Penn Work Study Students. If you are a Work Study Student from another school, you are welcome to apply for our unpaid internships.
High School Senior Projects
On occasion, XPN is able to work with High School Seniors who need to complete an internship as a part of their graduation requirements. Because most seniors have a limited timeframe (usually 3-4 weeks during the month of May) within which to complete their Senior Project, the number of positions that are available for you to apply to are limited as are the number of students hired. It will take us 2-4 weeks to process your application.
