Get a “behind the scenes look” at the Technical Operations of a world class radio station.
Duties:Assist Engineering/IT department in supporting computer systems used for desktop workstations, digital audio workstations, and audio recording/playback systems. Perform system backups, troubleshooting, software installations and upgrades. Support WXPN’s Data Management and Data Mapping program. Assist with basic facilities upkeep and maintenance. Other duties as assigned by manager.
Candidate must be familiar with commonly used computer applications including Windows XP/Windows 7, Microsoft Office Suite, web browsers, as well as anti-virus/anti-malware software applications and be able to do basic computer hardware repair and troubleshooting. Candidate should be familiar with Google Earth and other mapping software and have a strong understanding of Excel and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software. Candidate should be able to work in an office and radio production environment with minimal supervision. Experience with audio recording and editing software is a plus! Some occasional travel (with WXPN staff) may be required.
