Position Summary WXPN’s Marketing team works with concert venues and promoters to establish promotional partnerships for shows and events in XPN’s listening area. These partnerships allow XPN to connect with new audiences and attach our name to the shows of artists that we support. We call these concerts and events ‘XPN Welcomes’ and we are looking for an eager, organized and relational Marketer-in-training and Music Lover who wants real marketing experience at a nationally recognized leader in Triple A, public radio.

Duties
  • This internship will entail coordinating our Street Team Volunteers to attend XPN Welcomes events. The intern will also attend XPN events themselves to assess outreach strategies, along with our visual presence at XPN Welcomes. They will also assist the Community Outreach Coordinator to procure donations for XPN Fund Drives and recruit Volunteer groups.

  • Hands on experience in marketing for public radio, especially relating to public presence at events
