Duties:
WXPN is looking for an engaging Contributing Host and Digital Segment Producer for World Cafe, its 2 hour daily national music program distributed by NPR. S/he will create, produce, and host digital content for the web, self-contained segments for the radio show, and serve as a contributing host for World Cafe. S/he will occasionally host regular programs on WXPN.

Qualifications:
BA/BS or equivalent experience required. A minimum of three years of outstanding experience in music programming, producing and interviewing in the field of radio, television or podcasting required. Exceptional knowledge of a wide range of contemporary music and excellent storytelling, journalism, and interviewing skills are essential. Must have the ability to produce a full range of music programming content, including music selection and hosting. Must have strong social media skills on Facebook, twitter, and Instagram. Experience booking artists preferred. Minimum of 3 years experience creating digital media, online production, including writing, editing, HTML, and photography desired. Ideal candidate must have impeccable organizational skills, a successful history of managing a demanding workload, and good people skills. This position requires formal and informal public appearances. Must possess excellent technical skills & experience with software like Adobe Audition & Cool Edit to produce and edit sessions; blogging software like Wordpress and content management systems; Master Control or some other form of digital audio playlist software. Experience at public radio station and on-air fund raising a plus.
