The Lone Bellow is Southern-raised New Yorkers Brian Elmquist, Zach Williams and Kanene Pipkin. The trio mixes folksy roots, rock and roll, a little bit of soul, and gorgeous, close harmonies. The barely two-year-old trio has already attracted serious attention from NPR, The New York Times, Billboard, and Paste Magazine.
"The Lone Bellow's debut album captures the folky-rocky-acoustic music genre with enlightening results," says Bruce Warren, Assistant General Manager of Programming for WXPN. "They have a unique voice, captivating harmonies, infectious energy and fantastic songs. One quick moment into the band's album and you can hear the difference."
