REGISTRATION NOW OPEN FOR INAUGURAL ‘KINDIECOMM’ EVENT
New annual gathering of kids and family music community will take place at World Cafe Live in Philadelphia on June 28-29
PHILADELPHIA (FEBRUARY 24, 2014): Early registration is now open for the inaugural KindieComm, to be presented by public radio station WXPN-FM and its award-winning Kids Corner radio program on June 28 and 29 at World Cafe Live in Philadelphia.
The focus of KindieComm is on creating, distributing and promoting independent music for kids. “This new annual gathering will inspire and inform musicians and the community of folks who support and maintain the Kindie music genre,” said Kids Corner host Kathy O’Connell.
• The festivities begin for KindieComm 2014 participants on Friday night, June 27 with a casual mingling event.
• A full day of networking opportunities and special-topic sessions, followed by an KindieComm industry showcase, is scheduled for Saturday, June 28.
• On Sunday, June 29, a Kids Corner Music Festival showcase (for which separate tickets will be available) will feature such renowned kindie musicians as Dan Zanes and Lucky Diaz, among others.

ABOUT KIDS CORNER & KIDS CORNER MUSIC FESTIVAL
