The 12 Days of XPN Local Music – Day 8 – Harper Blynn “Christmas Ain’t No Good Without You”

Harper Blynn is comprised of a half-Jewish state champion baseball player from Chicago named Pete Harper, a curly-haired choir boy from Philadelphia called J.Blynn, a first-generation Indian man from Long Island named Sarab Singh and a tall Dutchman by the name of Whynot – yes, that is his name. All of Harper Blynn’s four members are vocalists in the band, which contributes to their unified and powerful emotional energy. Lead vocals are shared between the two songwriters, Pete Harper and J.Blynn. The band has a new album, Loneliest Generation, released December 15 on Baby Jackal Records. Paste Magazine featured Harper BLynn in late November on their online blog with a free download of the new single “Centrifugal Motion.” The album, recorded in only ten days, is getting great media coverage, and their music is available on iTunes.
