One of our favorite local singer-songwriters Birdie Busch is performing this weekend at the XPoNential Music Festival Presented by Subaru tomorrow (Saturday). She’s kicking off the day of music at 12:30 PM so make sure you get to the festival early enough to watch her set.

Birdie has some great new music out – a single she has released on a new local label called Be Frank Records. It’s called Everyone Will Take You In. It will be available as a two-sided 7-inch vinyl single (cool!) the first side being an original new song called “Joey” and the B-Side a cover of the Soul Survivors song “City Of Brotherly Love” (double cool). If you buy it digitally you get two bonus songs. Produced by Devin Greenwood, once again Birdie has surrounded herself with some amazing musicians who along with Birdie have recorded some quintessential Birdie Busch songs.
