This Friday at 3pm on XPN2, tune in for a very special XPN2 Studio Session. This week, host Eric Schuman welcomes the band Gospel Music into the studio for the band’s very first radio performance. Gospel Music is the project of singer/songwriter/guitarist Owen Holmes, who released his full length debut, How To Get To Heaven From Jacksonville, FL, on Kill Rock Stars last year. We’ll hear the full-band version of Gospel Music perform selections from the album and Owen’s debut EP, Duettes, live in the studio. Eric will also talk with Owen about his connection to public radio and his involvement in the band Black Kids.
