Bonnie Raitt Concert the night Nixon resigned

Bonnie Raitt was playing at the outdoor theater at Temple Ambler campus the night Nixon resigned. She came out on stage and announced to us that “Nixon resigned, man!” Most of the audience got up on their chairs and cheered. It was a cool place to be on such a historic night in August of 1974. And a great counter-culture celebration.
