I'm with you just about point for point. My first time seeing ELP play live was summer of '71 at the Wildwood NJ Convention Center, Emerson totally blew the doors off. I was also at the Colonial Theater show last year and the most amazing aspect is that although the band members have changed, thirty-five years on, Emerson has never sounded better. Great post Gene.
