I just love a cool classic car like a convertible Cutlass. I see them all the time in movies and TV now.

When my daughter was a baby, I would "walk the hall" with her often singing to her, to try to get her to go to sleep. When I had exhausted the nursery rhymes and "kid songs" I remembered, I frequently lapsed into commercial jingles and TV theme songs. She didn't care, it was just the sound of my voice and quiet melodies (as if my singing could pass for melodic!).

I was amazed at how many I remembered, and my wife did too!

I personally love vintage toys. It's fun finding the toys you had as a kid, or the ones you always wanted.

I have an overwhelming urge to go shopping...

We used to sing parodies of jingles on the school bus:

"Pepsi-Cola hits the spot
In your stomach, it will rot.
Tastes like beer, tastes like wine.
Oh my gosh, it's turpentine!!"

And lest we forget BOSCO:

"Oh, I love BOSCO, rich and poison-y
Chocolate-flavored BOSCO is mighty bad for me!
Mommy put it in my milk and tried to poison me.
But I fooled Mommy...I put it in her tea.
Oh, I love BOSCO...that's the stuff for me."
