Dirty Projectors

Dirty Projectors Yale dropout and prolific indie songwriter Dave Longstreth is back with a new CD, Swing Lo Magellan, released July 10. Dirty Projectors had a breakthrough in 2009 with the album Bitte Orca, and released a much-anticpated new album in July on Domino Records.
Their latest full-lengh, Swing Lo Magellan, is just as accessible as Bitte Orca but with a new emphasis on songs rather than the arrangements and concepts that leader Dave Longstreth has concentrated on in the past.

We’ll hear live versions of new songs and talk with Dave and singer Amber Coffman in this session of World Cafe.
