Robert Randolph originally learned to play pedal steel guitar during church services in Orange, NJ, later transforming his musical style to a blend of funk, soul and rock. Performing with his cousins, bassist Danyel Morgan and drummer Marcus Randolph, Robert Randolph And The Family Band are known for their legendary live performances featuring Robert's "string wizardry" and "jaw-dropping pyrotechnics." He has redefined the pedal steel guitar giving it a refreshing, multicultural facelift. His highly anticipated new release, We Walk This Road was produced by famed T-Bone Burnett and features Ben Harper and Leon Russell.
