Bap Kennedy Although he hails from Belfast, Northern Ireland, singer-songwriter Martin "Bap" Kennedy incorporates a wide range of genres with American origins into his music, such as blues, rocky, country, and Americana. Produced by Steve Earle and including vocal contributions by Nanci Griffith, the album was a major critical and commercial success for Kennedy. Since then, Kennedy has released seven albums and two EPS and has collaborated with artists such as Van Morrison and Mark Knopfler.
