This week's Free At Noon will feature Philadelphia rocker Peter Matthew Bauer. Originally the organist in The Walkmen, Bauer went solo last year when that group when on "extreme hiatus." In June 2014, he released his debut solo album, Liberation!, a collection of songs that ponder existential ideas of philosophy and faith. The music emanates some of the aspects of his unique upbringing by Eastern spiritual parents and gained the attention of fans with his honest, urgent songs. With a classic rock sound and an emphasis on guitar and reverb, Bauer creates an atmosphere all his own in his sonic creations. Don't miss Peter Matthew Bauer when he takes the stage this Friday at noon at World Cafe Live. You can join us by RSVPing for this week's performance below or tune in live at 88.5 FM.
