The British four-piece first turned heads with their 2012 self-titled debut which, despite being recorded mostly in drummer David Maclean's bedroom, found itself on a shortlist for the prestigious Mercury Prize. After embarking on a massive world tour for two years that included a stop at Bonnaroo in 2013, Django Django got back into studio and recorded Born Under Saturn. Building on the aesthetic that made their debut so popular, Born Under Saturn cultivates an old-school '70s British psychedelic dance-pop sound that is both carefree and energizing. The band plays Union Transfer on 11/6. RSVP to reserve your spot for this week's Free at Noon in Philadelphia, or tune in at 88.5FM and worldwide at XPN.org.
