The Yonder Mountain String band hail from Colorado and, during their over 15 year career, have cultivated a sound both comfortingly traditional and surprisingly contemporary. Extensive touring and a deep catalog show just how hard this group has worked to bring their progressive bluegrass sound to the public with impressive success. This June, the five-piece released their 11th studio album Black Sheep via Frog Pad Records and will be stopping by the TLA this Friday, November 13 to play a mix of songs new and old. RSVP to reserve your spot for this week's Free at Noon in Philadelphia, or tune in at 88.5 FM and worldwide at XPN.org.
