Internships: Finance

Development Research Assistant

(5-10 hours per week)

Duties: If you want to learn about fundraising for a non-profit radio station, look no further. We need an intern to assist the Director of Philanthropic Giving and the Finance and Development Coordinator with prospect research, using various databases and internet searches. When not doing research, you will help us with correspondence and other writing projects, planning and preparation for Member and Capital Campaign events, and painfully boring tasks such as photocopying, filing and faxing. You may also attend meetings when required. This position is critical in helping WXPN achieve our philanthropic fundraising goals.

An ability to manage several projects, an attention to detail, and respect for sensitive information required. An interest in music, broadcasting, or fundraising a plus.
