(6 hour minimum per week)
Duties: Become part of a team creating feature content for the XPN Morning Show. This involves research, interviewing, and production in a revolving cycle so that some features are always in development and some in production through the team effort.
Research local arts and culture and national music and arts for XPN Morning Show content. After consulting with Morning Show host, schedule and conduct interviews. Prepare script and edit sound into a feature worthy of airing on the XPN Morning Show. Help with logging of the feature on day sheet and website.
Qualifications: Candidate must be a good writer and able to work independently but with oversight. Some knowledge of computer audio editing systems (SAW, DAW, ProTools, Cool Edit) is desired. Interest in arts and culture a plus.
Since a fair amount of training is involved, looking for candidates who can make a commitment of at least two school years.
