(10-20 hours per week)
Duties: Load music for national World Cafe show. Burn CD's for archives and affiliates. Assist with recording of live performances, including load-in, setup, and breakdown of artists. Set up initial edits of recorded sessions in SAW (digital audio workstation). This internship provides an understanding of the production process for a nationally syndicated public radio show, and is an opportunity to learn the basic principals of recording and editing interviews and music.
Qualifications: Candidate must have computer skills and an interest in technology. S/he must be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently. Ability to juggle multiple tasks and ability to work under deadline pressure is needed. A desire to explore a career in radio is a plus, as is any previous experience with recording or production equipment.
