PHILADELPHIA– Kids Corner, WXPN’s award-winning call-in radio show for kids, invites families and young festival goers who will be attending the upcoming 2013 XPoNential Music Festival presented by Subaru, taking place July 26 through July 28 on the Camden, NJ waterfront, to join in celebrating its 25th anniversary by visiting the Festival’s popular Kids Corner area in the Camden Children’s Garden, adjacent to Wiggins Park in Camden, NJ, on Saturday, July 27 and Sunday, July 28 from 12 pm to 5 pm to enjoy special activities and guests.
At the Kids Corner 25th anniversary tent, kids will have the chance to meet program host Kathy O’Connell and some of their favorite Kids Corner on-air guests. Rock To The Future will have interactive activities such as an Instrument Zoo, for kids to touch and learn about a variety of musical instruments, and mini-music lessons to show kids how to play instruments such as guitar and piano. Kids can make their own hand drums or shakers, and then join the Rockin’ Kids Jamboree every afternoon at 4 pm for the chance to be a part of the Kids Corner Band.
Featuring four acres of nature that include the Interactive Garden, Dinosaur Garden, Tree House, Storybook Garden, Picnic Garden, Arrow River Train Ride, the Commerce Carousel and much more, the Camden Children’s Garden provides an oasis of fun and exploration for younger festival goers each year during the annual XPoNential Music Festival.
