On Giving Tuesday, WXPN’s one-day fund drive will encourage listeners to make membership pledges to the non-profit, public radio station, with a goal of 700 new and renewing donors.
Deb Ashmore, WXPN Director of Individual Giving, said, “As a public broadcaster, WXPN is in the unique position of being able to help raise awareness for Giving Tuesday, in addition to raising funds that will help WXPN serve our members, listeners and the community year-round. We’re encouraging WXPN listeners to start their Giving Tuesday with a membership pledge at xpn.org or by phone at 1-800-565-WXPN, and to also support other charitable community organizations that help others and make a difference in our daily lives.”
