WXPN Hosts The Boss’ Birthday Bash featuring the XPN Local Phill-E Street Band Special concert in celebration of Bruce Springsteen’s 60th birthday to air live on WXPN

Philadelphia, Pa. Today WXPN, the nationally-recognized leader in Triple A (Adult Album Alternative) music and a noncommercial radio service of the University of Pennsylvania, announced that it will broadcast live its sold out event, The Boss’ Birthday Bash, in celebration of Bruce Springsteen’s 60th birthday on September 23 from 7 p.m.-10 p.m. This concert, hosted by XPN Host Helen Leicht, will feature live performances from XPN Local Artists, dubbed the Phill-E Street Band for this occasion, who will play the entire Born to Run album as well as other surprises.
