One of the most promising groups in the Philly Local scene, SLO-MO is led by steel guitarist MIKE BRENNER, a veteran of many bands (including MARAH). Out front is MIC WRECKA, a bona fide hip-hop poet. The groove-oriented tunes are punctuated with sublime female vocals and an absolutely solid rhythm section. The result is... well... hard to describe. Suffice to say that the steel guitar and rhymes mix in an entirely new and exciting fashion to create a vibe-y, atmospheric sound. Their live shows are way fun, and are quickly becoming the stuff of legend. My Buzz Comes Back deserves to be heard beyond the confines of the Delaware Valley. We're pretty confident that it will...
