The 2010s must have been a pretty exciting time to live in West Philadelphia. For our Sense of Place: Philadelphia series, we’re listening back to a session with Philly band Dr. Dog, who talked about how the neighborhood of West Philadelphia inspired music on their 2010 album Shame, Shame. Plus, we’ll revisit a 2015 session with Waxahatchee, from when she was also living in West Philly.

Listen to the session here.
