Punch Brothers joins host Raina Douris
Guitarist Tony Rice was incredibly beloved in the bluegrass community, so much so that some fans even started dressing like him. While Punch Brothers haven’t gone quite that far, their 2022 album is a track-by-track reimagining of Tony’s 1983 album Church Street Blues. In an Encore edition of the World Cafe, Punch Brothers Chris Thile and Chris Eldridge talk about their personal connection to this late musical hero and play songs from Hell on Church Street, live.
