Kathy O'Connell, host of WXPN's Peabody Award winning program Kids Corner, was honored at the Kids At Heart event put on by the Philadelphia Society for Services to Children. The event took place on Saturday April 8, 2006 at World Cafe Live to help raise funds for the 'Kids 'n Kin' and 'Families and Schools Together' programs which are both coordinated by the Philadelphia Society for Services to Children. Kathy was honored for her ongoing commitment to the children of Philadelphia over the last 15 years.
