WXPN Hosts FREE Funky Friday Dance Party and Concert Friday, February 13David Dye Hosts Funky Friday Live broadcast followed by a performance by The Hustle at The Abbey Bar

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. WXPN, the nationally-recognized leader in Triple A (Adult Album Alternative) music and a noncommercial radio service of the University of Pennsylvania hosts a special free night of music and dancing at The Abbey Bar upstairs at the Appalachian Brewing Company, 50 North Cameron Street, Harrisburg, PA (717) 221-1080. Doors open at 4pm.

The extended Funky Friday dance party with David Dye will be held from 5-9pm and broadcast until 7pm. XPN Local artist The Hustle will follow immediately at 9pm. The event is being held in conjunction with the Millennium Music Conference which WXPN is sponsoring.

“XPN is all about music and community. Holding free events in Central PA on a regular basis underscores our commitment to our listeners,” said Roger LaMay, WXPN general manager. “Our Funky Friday Dance Parties are very popular in this area. It’s also a great opportunity to connect a talented Philadelphia-based band with new audiences.”
