PHILADELPHIA, Pa. WXPN, the nationally-recognized leader in Triple A (Adult Album Alternative) music and noncommercial radio service of the University of Pennsylvania, today announced a Member Appreciation Day to be held on Monday March 2. XPN members can call in to request their favorite songs from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Requested songs will be played back all day long until 7 p.m. Calls will be taken at 1-800-565-WXPN (9976).

“We just completed a successful Fund Drive and are incredibly thankful for the support of our members during these challenging times,” said Roger LaMay, WXPN general manager. “This is our way of expressing our appreciation, because we wouldn’t be able to do what we do without their support.”

WXPN staff members including hosts Michaela Majoun, Helen Leicht, David Dye, Dan Reed, and Kathy O’Connell will man the request lines Monday morning and thank callers for their support. Listeners can tune in to WXPN-FM from 8 a.m.-7 p.m. or listen live online at XPN.org/listen.
