Fly to Memphis, the birthplace of the Blues, Rock ‘n’ Roll and Soul. Upon arrival, immerse yourself in Memphis’ energetic musical scene as you feast on southern cuisine on world-famous Beale Street.

Day 2: Thursday, October 25, 2012
Memphis
On Thursday morning, embark on a one-of-a-kind tour of the city of Memphis. Local musicians board the coach and tell the story of Memphis’ musical heritage and history as you view the city’s many highlights…you may even be tempted to sing along! Then, don your blue suede shoes when you visit Graceland, the palatial home of Elvis Presley. Enter Elvis’ 14-acre estate and visit his home, original business office, trophy building and the Meditation Garden, where Elvis and members of his family have been laid to rest. That afternoon, enjoy your free time, and maybe decide to visit Gibson Guitars or The Memphis Rock 'n' Soul Museum.
Thursday evening, you’ll attend a World Cafe Interview and Performance with Star and Micey at the legendary Ardent Studio. Star and Micey is named the "#1 Tennessee Band You Should Listen to Now!” by Paste Magazine’s."

Day 3: Friday, October 26, 2012
Memphis
On Friday morning, you'll visit the Stax Museum of American Soul Music, located at the original site of Stax Records. Then visit Sun Studio, perhaps the most famous recording studio in the world, that began the careers of musical legends such as Johnny Cash, B.B. King, Jerry Lee Lewis, and of course, Elvis Presley. Enjoy lunch today at a local restaurant. Then attend another World Cafe Interview and Performance at Ardent Studio with Country Punk Rock Band, Lucero! You will have some time at leisure in the afternoon where you may opt to visit the National Civil Rights Museum or explore Beale Street. In the evening, head to the famous Peabody Hotel for the daily Peabody ducks march!

Day 4: Saturday, October 27, 2012
Memphis, Tennessee - Clarksdale, Mississippi
Journey to the home of the Blues, Clarksdale, Mississippi. Upon arrival, you will tour the Delta Blues Museum where you will explore the history of the American music form of the blues. Later, you will have a guided tour by a local expert that highlights the Blues Route of Clarksdale. See where former local blues artists lived and started their musical careers. This evening, join your fellow travelers for a farewell dinner at the Ground Zero Blues Club. Afterward, get your groove on with the sounds of the local beat of Stan Street and the Hambone Band.
