Sense of Place: Rio - Do amor Proves There Are Rock Bands In Rio

July 18, 2013 - Do Amor are a four piece Rio rock band that has been playing together since the members were 15 when they bonded over cheap vinyl. They recently released their second album Piracema.

While Do amor is primary to the members of the band they haven’t gotten much time to play together recently because they share a rhythm section with Brazilian super-star Caetano Veloso. But they did a special show for the World Cafe. Energy and four part harmony with Do Amor live from Rio de Janeiro! It's a refreshing session!

WATCH a video of their live performance.
