Sweden’s Shout Out Louds Shed Light on New Album Optica

August 9, 2013 - Even though they have only been together for 10 years Shout Out Louds are coming out of a kind of mid-life band crisis on their new album Optica.

They worked differently on it and did their best to make it a “lighter” album which is where the title comes from. Optica is the band’s fourth album and it follows the more subdued Work from 2011. The band has always made highly melodic and lush music, but it is even more so on Optica. They play a gorgeous live set for us today.
