November 12, 2013 - Today, Tuesday November 12, is the publishing date for San Francisco based journalist Ben Fong-Torres’ new band biography of Little Feat.
Willin’: The Story of Little Feat is named after their best known song. We’ll discuss the history of Little Feat, a band with a series of critically acclaimed and beloved albums recorded for Warner Brother Records in the 1970s. The band’s founder and lead guitarist, singer and songwriter Lowell George passed away in 1979 at the age of 34 and the story of Little Feat is essentially his story. We’ll hear some Feat classics and talk with Ben Fong-Torres today.
