Portland’s Typhoon Returns From Hiatus With New Album White Lighter

November 26, 2013 - Our guests today Typhoon are an 11 piece band from Portland, Oregon led by Kyle Morton. Typhoon first formed in 2005 and recently released their third full length album White Lighter.
It includes even more wonderfully intricate arrangements than in the past. Morton’s compositions often deal with questions of mortality as he has suffered the effects of Lyme disease for years. Kyle will tell us about the hiatus he took from the band before this new album.
