Another Definition Of Psychedelic Music From Seattle’s Rose Windows

February 12, 2014 - The Seattle based psychedelic band Rose Windows has a remarkable mix of music. It comes from folk, blues, Persian and Eastern European music influences as well as 60's psych and prog – the band name checks The Doors and even Black Sabbath. Their lyrics are filtered through the songwriter Chris Cheveyo's Christian background and singer Rabi Shaheen Qazi‘s Muslim influences and more. Rose Windows released their debut full length Sun Dogs last year on Sub Pop records and we will hear them play on stage at World Cafe Live today.
