July 24, 2013 - Iron & Wine joins host David Dye in the studio. Sam Beam went from bedroom recording hobbyist to professional musician in 2002 when Sub Pop Records decided to release demos he had sent label head Jonathan Poneman.
Sam Beam of Iron and Wine got NonCOMM 2013 to a breathtaking start by playing a short acoustic set during the convention’s opening cocktail hour. He played four songs touching on the more recent end of his catalog before before heading across town to headline a sold-out show at Union Transfer.
