Jeffrey Foucault On Mountain Stage

Loading the player ...
Jeffrey Foucault makes his second appearance on Mountain Stage, recorded live on the campus of West Virginia University in Morgantown. Long a student of the rich and strange music that falls under the wide veil of Americana, Jeffrey Foucault's singing, songwriting and guitar playing draws instant comparisons to another heavyweight of the genre: Darrell Scott.
Originally from Wisconsin and now based out of Massachusetts, Foucault has toured extensively throughout the United States and Canada. Playing here backed only by an acoustic guitar, Foucault's set is drawn primarily from his latest release, Horse Latitudes, which was recorded alongside a folk supergroup that featured Eric Heywood, Billy Conway, Jennifer Condos and Van Dyke Parks.
Set List

  • "Starlight and Static"

  • "Goners Most"

  • "Everybody's Famous"

  • "Careless Flame"

  • "Train to Jackson"

  • "Absent Friends" (performed by Mountain Stage's Julie Adams and the New Rope String Band)
