appears here on Mountain Stage

several times over the years, both as a solo artist and with his alt-country band Old 97's

lyrics to music. Miller also plays the Old 97's song "Broadway," which he introduces to the audience as "having the highest note in my entire 15-album catalog."
Miller is joined by the Mountain Stage
band for his final two songs, "This Summer Lie" and "Wreck of the Old 97," from which his band draws its name.
