Instrumental rock band Los Straitjackets has been rocking out to the sounds of the surf for over two decades since its inception in 1988 as a trio called The Straitjackets. After a long hiatus, the group reformed under its current name and added a bassist to the lineup. The masked performers have since earned a national reputation for their energetic performances of Mexican-twanged surf rock through a series of successful national tours, several Christmas stints on NBC's "Late Night with Conan O'Brien", and eleven studio albums. Their latest release is this year's The Further Adventures of Los Straitjackets.
