Indie-pop six-piece Annuals first made waves in 2006 with their debut LP, Be He Me. The debut received critical acclaim and was heralded by the music blogosphere, setting the stage for their 2008 release, Such Fun, to cement their place among their indie-rock peers. Though the band is often compared to such giants as Arcade Fire and Broken Social Scene, their pop sensitivities offer a sweet touch that sets them apart from their contemporaries and lends a charming aesthetic to their live shows, known for being very intense and experiential.
