Born with a mission to perpetuate America's most important export, rock 'n' roll, the Philly-based Blood Feathers began in 2005 as a collaboration between Ben Dickey and Drew Mills. Their first record, Curse and Praise, was hailed by critics who heard it as one for the ages, but received little attention beyond small circles. Luckily, their highly melodic breed of '60s and early '70s guitar rock caught the attention of Philebrity, the popular media outlet for all things Philadelphia. In January, the brand new Philebrity Label released the newly expanded group's second LP, Goodness Gracious, to the delight of local audiences eager for more of the band's timeless sound.
