It's been close to fifty years since David Uosikkinen (from The Hooters) found his calling. He picked up a trumpet, and soon after discovered drumming, which he has pursued ever since. With In The Pocket: Essential Songs of Philadelphia, David revisits songs that were either recorded in Philadelphia or written and performed by Philadelphians. These essential songs feature a rotating line up of Philly's most respected musicians. It brings people close to the musical process by including photographs, videos and song history with the actual recordings that he creates. Dave will be touring with the Hooters this summer; but this new project should prove an exciting experience for fans who have a similar craving for musical immersion.
