Philadelphia-based singer-songwriter, Matt Duke got started young, learning to play the piano at age seven and never looking back. Matt Duke has a unique sound, incorporating pop, folk, jazz, and rock into his repertoire, and because of this variation, he appeals to a broad audience. He first signed with Drexel University's student run label, MAD Dragon Records, and later released his debut album with Ryko, Kingdom Underground in 2008, garnering rave returns. Duke's new album, One Day Die, released in March 2011, has already been widely received by fans, and is sure to continue to be a success.
Matt also volunteers his time as a musician for WXPN's Musicians On Call program. He played the 2009 annual benefit concert - together with Rachael Yamagata and Andrew Lipke at World Cafe Live on January 21, 2009.
