With three self-produced albums, Gary Clark Jr. won the Austin Music Award for "Best Blues and Electric Guitarist" three separate times. Considered a pioneering guitarist alongside legendary greats such as Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan, Gary Clark Jr. has piqued the interest of fans and critics alike with his ability to cut through styles of rock, blues, soul and R&B with seamless effort. Clark is only in his late 20's, and he can produce what sounds like the seasoned tones of a musician with many more years of experience. He's played a number of festivals including Austin City Limits and the 2010 Crossroads Guitar Festival where he played alongside Eric Clapton, Buddy Guy and B.B. King.
