Diego Garcia turned his sensitive side to the Sunday afternoon crowd at this year's XPoNential Music Festival, serenading them with selections from his 2011 album Laura.

XPN Artist To Watch Diego Garcia played XPN's Free At Noon last September, his new album Laura came in at #13 on XPN's best albums of 2011 Year in Review List. The former frontman of Elefant also appeared on World Cafe with David Dye. Incorporating his Latin background, Diego Garcia's deeply reflective music calls to mind the likes of Leonard Cohen and Morrissey. Garcia writes introspective, often-anguished lyrics, and fuses the Spanish guitar with a more traditional folk sound.
