We Are Augustines

We Are Augustines is an Indie Pop group consisting of guitarist Billy McCarthy, bassist Eric Sanderson and drummer Rob Allen. McCarthy and Sanderson had worked together before as members of the stylistically similar group Pela, but when that group split up the two teamed up with drummer Allen to create a new and improved version of Pela, and We Are Augustines was born. They craft a majestic, confident sound with their music, drawing comparisons to Arcade Fire and The Walkmen, and have been steadily gaining fans since the band's inception by not being afraid to take risks with their music. You can see them opening for the Counting Crows at the Susquehanna Bank Center on July 22nd, and you can bet that their performance will be just as passionate and entertaining as possible.
